Treasurer

I’m honoured to be able to serve as a Trustee and the Treasurer of the Twisting Ducks. I joined the Ducks a couple of months before the pandemic started and so am really looking forward to seeing it return to doing what it does best as things return to normal.

My background is that I have spent most of my career in financial services, based in London and Hong Kong. More recently I have owned a number of businesses in Asia including a wine business, a recruitment company and a maths teaching activity for people who find the subject challenging. I returned to the the UK two years ago so my wife and I could to be closer to family. 

At a personal level I really enjoy hill walking (especially in Scotland and the wonderful natural environment in the North East) and am also very keen on going to the theatre and other performing arts event. 

I also serve as a trustee of two other charities in the North East and manage a business helping people start up their own businesses.
