Work and volunteering history

I have lots of experience on Boards. I am a Co-Chair on the Board of Directors for another charity – Your Voice Counts. I am an ‘Expert By Experience’ and use my own experience of learning disabilities to help other people speak up. I am a great networker, a good talker, and I love meeting new people. I recently did some paid acting work and it is my dream to do more work like this. 

Personal statement

I joined the Twisting Ducks Board in February 2022. As well as being a Trustee, I am a member of the core Twisting Ducks drama group. I am very passionate about performing and speaking up for other people with learning disabilities. I also enjoy seeing my friends every week at the Twisting Ducks and connecting with people. 

I am an animal lover, especially dogs. I am outgoing and like to socialise, to have a laugh and to go out for nice meals. My family is important to me and I like spending time with them.
